valenkis rus are 100% wool with a detachable rubber "galoshi" to protect it from the elements. this boot has been around for 300 years and has been warmed the feet of both russian peasants and royalty. very cool.




i have a pair of brown ones and get compliments from all the right people. and they are so warm. best purchase of my young life, especially for minnesota winters. not as bad as siberia, but can come pretty dern close. you can find them in new york and los angeles at ddc lab, in vancouver at eugene choo or online here.
